Community Mental Health Centers
Overview
Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) are the local coordinating agencies for delivery of public community-based mental health services. CMHCs are administered under the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS). CMHCs are person-centered, value-based providers of mental health and support services for Kansans with mental illness. They assist people with mental illness in living healthy, successful and self-determined lives in their homes and communities.
